Note to EVERYBODY ELSE:
a) bonus points (or possibly cookies) to whoever Names That Fandom for my icon.
b) if anyone is interested in going with my to SciFi Genre in the next couple of days so I can buy dice… that would be awesome. Cookies could also be involved in this. I am not above bribery.

Note to self:
a) find SciFi Genre. seriously.
b) find somebody to go with you, because you're not really brave enough to go into such a bastion of masculinity by yourself. admit this and get on with life.
c) buy some dice so that everybody doesn't have to borrow Will's for upcoming Requiem chronicle. better yet, buy pretty dice. Will's are ugly.
d) yay! pat yourself on the back. You've accomplished three things, and possibly even met interesting new people. Not to mention you will no longer have to borrow other people's dice. Not mooching is good.
e) slowly work up to not having to have somebody else go with you. nobody says you have to be a wimp about comic/gaming stores forever.
f) find a decent microphone for your computer, and record vocals for a song. don't stress about instrumentals. people think your voice is pretty, and it wouldn't kill you to put it somewhere on the net under CC, a cappella or not.

a) i'll go with you...i have no idea where it is either though, sorry ):
b) remember #1 on my list of most fun things to do? "Walk into a gaming store, be a girl, and be looking for something besides Cranium."
c) Will's are pretty. Have you even SEEN my motley collection of D10? None of them are the same, all diff sizes, some percentile, some not, diff colours, some don'y even have the numbers filled in, and they're in a ratty ziploc bag. Hence me not using them this summer. I've gotta buy some too.
d) eeee fun!
e) YES RECORD MUSIC! If you screw with Garage Band enough, you might be able to put together some basic instrumentals anyway.

Oh come on, a motley collection of dice is the best kind. None of this "all my dice match exactly" stuff, that leads to gamers who won't let other people touch their dice and all sorts of nasty stuff. I figure go the opposite way, never have two of the same die, and then you get a variety of pretty instead of just one kind of pretty.
