Finally banged out next chapter of The Drift of Stars. It needs editing, but at least I've gotten one of those important steps out of the way--introducing all of your main characters to each other. The last chapter I posted was in July, so it's really due.

Now to transcribe, edit, and send off to my beta. But not right now. Right now, putting on some B5 and hopefully drifting off to sleep. It's funny, the things I find relaxing to sleep to. "GRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAVES!!!", PPG fire, the end of the world (in several different flavors)…

So, I have made my return to the (very small-scale no-pressure community theater) stage without more than the usual number of hitches, and I'm glad. I haven't been in a play since Good Woman, and there was a long period when I was afraid it had put me off acting entirely. I had great fun tonight, however, and only screwed up a little.

I will just mention, for like the billionth time, that my personal favorite thing about this play is the number of times I get to scream at the top of my lungs.
