A little story about a brutal beating that led to a man's death in Illinois. When did it happen? Two months ago. The excuse? "He was gay, and he was coming on to me."
Don't mistake it for Matthew Shephard's murder, which is what it immediately reminds me of.
The best question of all, of course, is this- why are we only now hearing about this? And not from the press, not from the media, but from the internet. From people just like us who can't believe that the press will not touch this story.
