Seriously. There will be bagpipers.
Is it too late to back out and just wait for my degree to come in the mail?
Ah well. I will go to make my mother happy, and just do my best to not laugh at the VSBI or fall asleep during the badly written and poorly delivered speeches. Already sat through two from the new Alumni Association, which thoroughly confirmed my decision to pay it no attention whatsoever.
And in a few months, I'll be at Meredith, looking forward to a graduation where the pomp and circumstance won't seem quite so absurd.
